Calex Shameless Slim Thumper – Blue

The Legendary History: Female Led Innovation Since 1994

Founded in Southern California in 1994 by Susan Colvin, California Exotics (often known globally as CalExotics) fundamentally transformed the adult toy industry. Before their arrival, the market was heavily male dominated and focused, often presenting intimate toys in cold, clinical, or uninviting ways. Susan Colvin set out to revolutionize this landscape by creating a female owned and female led company that focused directly on the unique desires, wellness, and comfort of women and couples.

Over the past three decades, this revolutionary vision has turned California Exotics into a global powerhouse. They are widely credited with taking adult novelties out of the shadows and bringing them into mainstream retail and healthy lifestyle conversations. Their dedication to sexual education, wellness advocacy, and female empowerment has earned them a reputation as one of the most trusted and respected brands in the world, trusted by millions of users across every continent.

Rather than relying on outdated designs, California Exotics has consistently pushed the boundaries of intimate product design. They operate a massive, state of the art research and development department where female engineers, product designers, and sexual health educators collaborate closely. This unique setup ensures that every single device they bring to market is designed from a place of deep anatomical understanding, physical comfort, and aesthetic beauty.

Award Winning Safety, Pure Materials & Advanced Engineering

Did You Know? California Exotics was among the very first major brands in the world to completely phase out toxic phthalates and low grade plastics, setting an industry wide standard for body safe material manufacturing.

The brand is celebrated for utilizing ultra premium, hypoallergenic materials, including top tier medical grade silicone, pure non porous ABS plastic, and velvety soft TPE. Every material batch is rigorously tested in laboratory environments to guarantee it is entirely lead free, toxin free, and safe for even the most sensitive skin types. Their seamless manufacturing processes mean there are no rough seams or sharp edges, providing a completely smooth, friction free experience during use.

On the technical front, CalExotics is responsible for some of the most famous product innovations in history, including the development of user friendly bullet controllers, flexible memory silicone wands, and incredibly quiet multi speed motors. Their modern rechargeable lines utilize next generation lithium ion batteries that deliver hours of consistent, deep rumbling power. This deep rumble technology is specially tuned to target deep tissue nerve endings, providing a much more satisfying and natural sensation than high pitched, buzzy motors.

Furthermore, almost all of their contemporary rechargeable devices are fully waterproof with an IPX7 rating, making them perfect companions for relaxing bath or shower play. This water resistant design also makes cleanup incredibly simple: the seamless outer layers prevent any soap, water, or organic fluids from getting trapped, meaning a quick wash with warm soapy water or a dedicated antibacterial toy cleaner keeps your favorite device sterile and ready for action.
